S. Lubin was a producer and distributor of films beginning in the late 19th century. To supply product for his Cineograph camera/projector system, Siegmund Lubin often illegally-duplicated or made copycat versions of films by American and European production companies. The company was superceded by Lubin Manufacturing Company in 1902.
