Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? To save his son from a misalliance and enable him to marry the right girl, a broker first tries to buy off the other woman, and then, when she refuses financial settlement, lures her to a hunting lodge, where he locks her in so that she shall not carry out her threat to make a scene at the wedding. She vows vengeance and with the aid of a financial power who wishes her favor, finally ruins the broker. But when she exults over him he is borne up by the thought that he has saved his boy.
