George Siegmann

Born 8 February 1882 in New York, USA.
Died 22 June 1928 in Hollywood, California, USA, of pernicious anemia.

Married Maude Darby, 1927; until his death, 22 June 1928.

George Siegmann began his acting career on the stage. He is best remembered for his film appearances for director D.W. Griffith, including The Birth of a Nation (1915). Throughout the 1910s and 1920s Siegmann appeared in a number of charactor roles, often as the antagonist, and also directed films.
