Jobyna Ralston

Born 21 November 1899 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, USA, as Jobyna Lancaster Raulston.
Died 22 January 1967 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Married actor Richard Arlen, 28 January 1927; divorced, 4 September 1946; son, actor Richard Arlen Jr., born 17 May 1933.

Jobyna Ralston made her motion picture debut for Reelcraft Pictures Corporation in 1920. She was voted a WAMPAS Baby Star in 1923. Ralston replaced Mildred Davis as the romantic lead in Harold Lloyd comedies.

Jobyna’s film career ended in the early 1930s with her pregnancy coupled with her lisping speaking voice.
