The Rex Theatre was a downtown theatre opened in 1922 in the historic McBreen Building, which was built in 1883.
Portland’s street numbering changed in 1933.
The Rex was acquired by Ted Gamble in 1947 and renamed the Round-Up Theatre, which continued operations under the name into the 1970s.
